eWisely Award

The Women Sustainability invites women guided by their ambitions to create sustainable, global impact to nominee themselves or their peers to the 'Exceptional Women in Sustainability Award - eWisely Award'.

Women in sustainability are awarded in our annual ceremony at the Women Sustainability Forum. Awardees are hard-working visionaries who take action ‘to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs’ (Brundtland, 1987). They lead, create and innovate in an emerging global order. Ultimately, their ambition is to build a sustainable world and make a difference.

Based on the criteria below, submit nominations to international@womensustainability.academy

Nomination Criteria

Contribute with initiatives of raising funds for the development of activities aimed at positioning women as the center of global/local sustainability agendas
Establish partnerships to develop collaborative projects across the 17 Sustainable Development Golas (SDGs) and interlinkages with the SDG 5 (Gender Equality)
Actively participate in the Women Sustainability Forum and eWisely networks, supporting debates in one or several of our thematic areas
Take on the leadership of eWisely network in the their home countries. Awardees are advocates for the SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and interlinkages with the other SDGs
Support and promote women in their regions to strengthen their professional development through our enablers, namely: education, entrepreneurship, leadership, employment and innovative use of technology.
Create awareness among stakeholders (companies, government and civil society) on issues related to the Sustainable Development Goal 5 and/or broader sustainability issues related to women.
