Prior to commencing my internship I received invaluable mentorship and guidance from eWisely team which prepared me for the internship at the United Nations. eWisely also facilitated this connection. During my time there I received the opportunity to attend many events and conferences centered on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A campaign run by UN Women known as “HeforShe” was one of the more notable events. This week conveyed the substantial support and investment shown by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade toward the cause of gender equality. As an Australian working in a global and culturally diverse work environment, it was empowering to see my home country support a cause that is so close to my heart. 2017’s theme for “HeforShe” is women in the changing world of work. An ethos that is ingrained in the structure and purpose of eWisely". Ellen's research outputs are listed below.
